The East Side PE Movie Night will take place this Friday, February 10^th from 6-9pm.  All money raised from this event will go directly to the American Heart Association as part of the ESPE Jump Rope For Heart fundraiser (see below).  The cost is $20 per child.  Payment is due at drop off at the gym at 6:00pm.  Enjoy a few hours off while your children watch a movie with their friends.  Food, drinks, and other fun activities will be provided.  Parents will return at 9:00pm for pick up.  See you at the movies!

The annual Jump Rope For Heart event will be held during PE classes during the week of Feb. 27-March 2.  All students have received their JRFH envelopes.  Please take a moment to read the information carefully with your child and help raise money for this worthwhile cause!  For more information on how to get started, please visit www.heart.org/jump.

What a great way to start back to school! On Tuesday, the students had a rousing Pep Rally to kick off the week. This year the theme is Epic Adventure. The Boosterthon team will be working with the students on lessons all about Teamwork. Go to http://boosterthoninfo.com/eastsidetigers for a video message and fun run times for each grade level. This is the only fundraiser for the PTA for the entire year. Your support will give needed funds back to your child’s teacher and provide enrichment programs and updated technology for the entire school. So help your student connect with 5 to 10 sponsors to help raise money for our amazing school.
